Garrett's Space 8/20/26

Episode Summary

Julie Halpert, Co-Founder, Garrett's Space

Episode Notes

Many young people feel alone, overwhelmed, or unsure about seeking formal treatment. Few places feel safe, welcoming, and free of stigma.

Garrett’s Space is dedicated to reducing suicides and filling critical gaps in supportive care options for young adults ages 18 to 28 facing mental health challenges.

The 7th annual Go4GarrettsSpace fundraiser will take place on Saturday, August 29 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Morris Lawrence Building on the Washtenaw Community College campus.

The evening will feature light refreshments, a silent auction, inspiring speakers, live entertainment, and opportunities to celebrate five years of offering free, accessible community programming.
