Nerd Nite!
Every once in a while, the Nerd Nite organizers get in a pinch and need to break the glass to release Rich Retyi upon the assembled. This Thursday is that situation. July 9 at 7pm at LIVE in Ann Arbor, doors at 6:30pm. The first two rows will be in the splash zone—fair warning. This edition of Nerd Nite features Landon Myers on Unimaginable Election Shenanigans: Voting in Early America, Kayla Peck on DNA sequencing in a presentation called Yes, we sequenced that! Stories of people, pathogens, and poo. And then yours truly telling the tale of Foxy Truesport: U-M's Turn of the Century Professor of Lovemaking. Just in time for Valentine's Day!
