Each year, in conjunction with Ann Arbor SPARK, The Center for Digital Engagement offers a paid Digital Summer Clinic internship. This internship helps college students and recent grads from Southeastern Michigan find careers in digital. This year’s application will open soon and they close on April 25, 2025. Interviews will be conducted in May and final offers will be completed by Memorial Day 2025.

Clinic interns gain practical experience in digital marketing and tech, the opportunity to connect with mentors and industry professionals, and guidance in developing a professional portfolio. Clinic interns span a broad range of majors, including Computer Science, Business, Communications, Media Arts, and more. Clinic projects routinely span all of these majors.

Interns work in teams of two for companies housed in Ann Arbor SPARK’s high-tech incubator. Teams work on various projects ranging from developing websites and apps to content creation (written, graphic, photography, video), social media, and advertising.

75% of interns move on to jobs in the Southeastern Michigan high-tech economy with firms like General Motors, Domino’s, iProspect, Career Now Brands, Google, and more.

Interns work for 10 hours per week. The Summer 2025 Clinic will run from June 9 to August 8. Pay is $19/hour. There are 48 positions available.

Applications will open soon and close April 25, 2025.
