FREE FOOD!
People love free stuff, especially free food! Two AADL Summer Game tasting events this week at Westgate Branch.
First, on Thursday, August 7 from 1-2pm, it's the Zingerman's Summer Game Food Tasting with bite-sized samples of food and drink for the enjoying. In the past they've had bacon and brownies and who knows what else. Then Friday, August 8, also at Westgate from 1-2:30pm it's the Sweetwaters Summer Game Celebration! They'll have samples of summertime favorites for you to try. Westgate Courtyard this Thursday and Friday for Zingerman's and Sweetwater's tasting events!
Anime Arbor Next Weekend
AADL has the first of three ALL-NEW festivals and expos happening next weekend and it's called Anime Arbor! Saturday, August 16 from 11am to 5pm!
It's a celebration of all things anime and manga, featuring vendors selling cool stuff, presentations and events like How to Draw Manga, Anime Trivia, and special guest SungWon Cho AKA ProZD who has provided voice talent for tons of anime and video games and is a very popular Youtuber.
We're also having a Cosplay contest with prizes for winners across a ton of categories.
