STAR WARS
May the THIRD be with you. Star Wars Day is May the Fourth, but because that's a Monday, we're observing Star Wars Day at the library on Sunday, May 3 from 11am to 4pm with fun activities for all ages, including, Star Wars inspired crafts, a performance by the Threepios who play parodies of classic '80s pop and new wave songs with a Star Wars spin, plus screening two Star Wars films. aadl.org/starwarsday

CHUCK TINGLE AT AADL
AADL has selected the award-winning satirical queer horror novel Bury Your Gays as its Big Gay Read for 2026. The book was written by author Chuck Tingle, most famous for his erotica, satire, and now horror novels, who will be LIVE at the Downtown Library on Saturday, June 6 at 6:30pm. He's bringing a one-night-only revival of his Bury Your Gays book tour, which he says will be a one-man show of games and revelations, with Q&A to follow. Request a copy of Bury Your Gays today and visit aadl.org/thebiggayread for more information on Chuck Tingle's appearance, as well as more programming around the book.
